The Walther P38 is a semi-automatic pistol designed to replace the Luger P08 pistol, which was more expensive to produce. It was the service pistol of the Wehrmacht and fired the 9mm round. The Yakuza got a hold on the weapon through the black market after World War II. When placed against its competition, the Mafia's Sawed-off Shotgun, the edge was given to the shotgun because of its superior killing power.
