Overall this was an excellent episode in my opinion. I really liked the Long range test this episode. I had a feeling the Gatling gun would prove to be a more effective, despite being an older design. This was because by the time Roosevelt would of used the Gatling gun, it was at it pinnacle of development as opposed to the Vickers being a pretty new and relativity untested tech in battle. That and the belt feed system jammed like I thought it would. This is a good example of proven technology vs emerging technology, where the proven technology comes out ahead. That being said …

Swg66's Aftermath:Saddam Hussein vs Pol Pot

In this Aftermath I will address what I thought was done well in the episode Saddam Hussein vs Pol Pot and what I feel wasn't.

Note: This will be shorter than the last because these two fall a little beyond my area of expertise.

Like last week I thought this episodes strongest point was the weapons and the weapons tests. I greatly enjoyed the first tests, seeing how these weapons work together. I hope this is a sign of things to come in the future and I hope they do this for more warriors in future episodes, and I hope they adapt it to ancient warriors, I would of loved to see Hannibal or Genghis Khan experts do test like that, hitting with long range than ride up and finish the job with spears and swords.

Swg66's Aftermath: Genghis Khan vs Hannibal

In this Aftermath I will discuss the strengths and weaknesses of the episode Genghis Khan vs Hannibal. I will point out what I think they did well and what I feel was weaker aspects of the episode.

The best part of this episode was the weapons and the weapons test. The weapons were accurate within reason, and frankly I loved the weapons test. This season has shown marked improvement in the way weapons are tested. Excepting the Special Weapons, all the weapon were tested fairly and subjected to the same tests, giving a fair comparison as far the effectiveness of the weapons. I also like the introduction of war animals actually being tested, past season have left this out, and while only the elephant was tes…
