The Turko-Mongol saber was pitted against the Falcata of Hannibal for close range weapons. The two swords were first tested on foot against 4 sides of beef. Both swords achieved 4 kill strikes, but the Falcata was more precise. The two swords were then tested from horseback against a pig carcass. This time the Turko-Mongol Saber achieved a kill and the Falcata did not. The edge was given to the Turko-Mongol Saber for it's longer blade and cutting power.

The Turko-Mongol saber is a curved sword. It was the Close-Range weapon of Genghis Khan. It also was one of the Short-Range weapons of Vlad the Impaler in the game Deadliest Warrior: Legends.
