With due respect Edit
With due respect, almost 70% of the "shield" section is wrong. This makes large shields sound like a super weapon, it has no mention of evolution of shields and why they fell outta favour in Europe right after the middle ages. Not to mention for some reason it practically only considered about the samurai when it came to Asia, has almost on mention about the African use of shields, forgot to mention the effective bone shields of Native Americans.
I would already edit this section but it needs some real revamp which would probably make some people unhappy and I don't have the luxary of getting in a drama here (like I once experienced before). So if anyone has any disagreement please kindly post in this page. Ohterwise I would take it as a okay sign and bring in the shovel next week. Thanks for reading. :)

Wow this is old but I'm going to address the "70%" wrong thig right now. It's not wrong I simply didn't have the time to put all example of sheilds in. In Asia the sheild was not as popular as Europe, and you can see in the the fighting style of multiple European warriors like the Greek Phalanxe or Roman legion. When I wrote the page I wasn't trying to say the Asianic country's didn't uses sheilds, I was pointing out that there weren't as popular. But regardless I appreciate the help with the pages.
