The slingshot is a small, hand-held projectile weapon. It was the Close-Range weapon of the IRA.

Slingshots usually consist of a forked Y-shaped frame from which rubber or elastic bands are attached, leading back to a pocket in which the projectile is placed. The slingshot used in Deadliest Warrior is noticeably more advanced, being mounted onto a plastic arm guard. It also can be used with a stabilizer to help increase the accuracy of this weapon.
