Atilla 4.jpg

The Scythian Axe aka Scythian Tomahawk was a handheld axe from the Asian steppes, a wood-chopping tool modified to maim and kill. It was the Special Weapon of Attila the Hun.

Description[edit | edit source]

The Scythian axe features a curved iron head which tapers towards the back and widens near the bit. The wooden handle is straight with a leather grip.

Stats[edit | edit source]

  • Range: 5 feet
  • Length: 2.5 feet
  • Weight: 2.5 lbs

Use[edit | edit source]

The shape of the axe head concentrated the force onto a relatively small area, giving it great cutting power even if the bit is dull. Both sides are used to cutting and impaling.
