The RPG-7 Rocket Launcher is a widely used, portable, shoulder-launched rocket propelled grenade weapon system. It was the Mid-Range weapon of the
Taliban, and the Explosives weapon of the Somali Pirate.
Description
The launcher is based around a simple tube, 40 mm (1.57 inch) in diameter, 95.3 cm (37.4 inches) in length, and weighing 7 kg (15 lbs). The middle of the tube is wood wrapped to protect the user from heat, and the end is flared to assist in blast shielding and recoil reduction.

Uses
Owing to its ruggedness, low cost, and effectiveness, the RPG-7 is the most widely used anti-tank weapon in the world. It is used in over 40 nations and is popular with irregular and guerilla forces. It is relatively easy to use, and can be used accurately at distances of 100 meters with no prior training.
