The PKM Machine Gun is a general purpose machine gun designed in the Soviet Union and currently in production in the United States. It was the Long-Range weapon of the Somali Pirates.

The PKM (Пулемёт Калашникова Модернизированный: Pulemyot Kalashnikova Modernizirovanni, Russian for Kalishnikov's Machine-gun Modernized) is a lighter version of the earlier PK machine gun. It can be used as a light anti-aircraft weapon when put on an AA mount. It is used in Russia and most former Eastern Bloc nations.
