The MP28 was the submachine gun wielded by the Nazi SS. The MP28 was the evolved version of the first submachine gun ever created, the MP 18. It fired a 9x19mm Parabellum round and its feed system was made up of a round drum or regular box magazine. Compared to the Viet Cong's MAT-49 submachine gun, both were given the edge.
