The LWRC-PSD M6 is a series of carbines based upon the M4 carbine, with which it shares 80% of its parts; sudden death at 15 rounds a second. It was the Mid-Range weapon of the SWAT Team.

The SWAT's LWRC-PSD utilized higher caliber bullets, and therefore killed with much more damage in less time; earning it the advantage in middle-ranged weapons. The M6 is designed to fill the role of a squad automatic weapon. Its different models are used by SWAT, the United States Drug Enforcement Administration, and the United States Marine Corps.
