The Beretta 92FS is a semi-automatic pistol chambered for the 9mm round. It replaced the M1911 pistol which was the standard side-arm for the U.S. Army. It was lighter, held more rounds, and had less recoil. The Green Berets's used the pistol as their close range weapon.
